People who use Book It in Claude or ChatGPT

Searching and reading listings (find_provider, get_services, quote_range, check_availability) stores nothing about you. Our logs keep the tool name, the trade, ZIP or business asked about, how long it took and whether it worked, for 30 days, to run and protect the service. We never receive your chat, your account or your location beyond the ZIP you give.
Sending a booking request (request_booking) collects five things: your name, phone number, ZIP, what you need and your preferred time, plus the consent text you agreed to and when. They go to the one business you chose, which sees them in its Book It inbox and by email, and may call or text you about the request.
We use these details only to deliver your request and to stop spam and duplicates. We do not sell or share them, do not send you marketing, and do not text or call you ourselves.
The business keeps your request in its inbox until it deletes it or closes its account. To have a request deleted, ask the business or write to us with the reference (BK-...) and the phone number used; we delete it within 7 days.

We hold what you enter in the portal: business name, phone, website, description, town, ZIPs, services, price ranges, hours, days off and alert settings, and your sign-in email. Listing details are public by design: they are what assistants show.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription ids and status, never card numbers.
Alert emails are sent through Resend. Text alerts, when switched on, go through Twilio, only to the number you opt in with, only for new requests. Reply STOP to end them.
You can download everything we hold for your business, or delete it all, from Alerts and account in the portal at any time. Deletion is immediate. Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires.

Data is stored in a dedicated Supabase Postgres database in the United States with row level security: each business can reach only its own records. The app runs on Vercel.
Modern Mustard Seed staff see business and request data only to run the service, answer support questions or stop abuse.
We disclose data only when the law requires it.

Book It is for adults arranging home services. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
